The most frequently asked question is, “What is the right daily dosage of CBD oil for me?” Unfortunately, this question is still difficult to answer. This is because the right dosage is different for every person. In this article we try to fathom what the right dosage when using CBD oil. How many mg CBD oil per day? How many CBD drops per day?
CBD oil dosage
CBD is a natural medicine and therefore can be safely consumed as long as it is clean and contains no toxins. However, when it comes to the daily recommended dosage, it is understandable that people may need some help and guidance.
We have put together a simple dosing guide following the dosing guide described in a book titled “CBD: A Patient’s Guide To Medical Hemp” by Leonard Leinow and Juliana Birnbaum. Leonard Leinow founded Synergy Wellness, a non-profit medical CBD collective in Northern California and has three decades of experience growing and studying medicinal CBD. They are specialists in CBD pioneering this aspect of the industry. Juliana Birnbaum has lived and worked all over the world and founded “Voices in Solidarity,” an initiative that worked with tribal leaders of the Brazilian Amazon to support the development of a community-led environmental education center.
Recommended dosage: cbd oil effect
There are a number of factors to consider when finding the perfect dosage of CBD for consumers. Some of the factors that play an important role are:

- How intense your problem is
- Metabolism
- Reaction to CBD products
- Body weight

Based on the guidelines in the book CBD: A Patient’s Guide to Medicinal CBD, we recommend the step-up approach (increase dose gradually until the most desired results are achieved). The term used in the book is “Titration. This is a term borrowed from chemistry that means to take small steps over time. Adjust the amount of oil to suit your personal needs. Every person is different and everyone’s reaction to CBD is different.
Since there is a wide range of dosage options, the authors have identified three dosages that may be useful for different conditions:
Micro dose
0.5 mg to 20 mg CBD per dose per day (CBD/dose/day) A microdose is recommended for sleep, headaches, mood disorders, nausea, PTSD, stress and metabolic disorders and daily nutritional supplements, among others.
For microdose, we recommend our 5% CBD oil. 1 drop of 5% oil contains 1.67 mg of CBD. Take 3 drops three times a day (15 mg CBD). The dosage can be adjusted according to the tolerance level.
Standard Dose
10mg to 100mg CBD dose per day. Standard doses are used for the following conditions:
- Inflammation
- Chronic pain
- Autoimmune diseases
- Lyme disease
- Anxiety disorder
- Depression
- Fibromyalgia
- Multiple sclerosis
- Autism
- Crohn’s disease and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
For a standard dosage, we recommend our 1500mg or 2500mg CBD oil. 1 drop of the 1500mg CBD oil contains 6mg CBD and 1 drop of the 2500mg oil contains 6.7mg CBD.
For the 1500mg oil: 3 drops 3 times a day = 54mg CBD.
For the 2500mg oil: 3 drops 3 times a day = 60mg CBD.
Simple guidelines for beginners
We have created a simple, comprehensive guideline for beginners using CBD, just like dietary supplements. With CBD, it is better to start with a small dose. It is very important to become familiar with the body’s response to CBD when increasing the dose. The recommended dosage of each product can vary greatly, causing confusion. The dosage can vary depending on the percentage of the best CBD oil use. On average, 25 mg of CBD per day is very effective for most people. The dosage of CBD can be increased slowly until symptoms improve. Of course, this is different for each patient and should be monitored.
